As you are aware, the Ministry of Company Affairs (MCA) has launched the MCA21 program, an ambitious e-Governence initiative which will move MCA from the traditional paper-based operation to a near paperless environment. With the launch of MCA21, e-filing with ROC has been made compulsory, and has already started from 25/4/2006. Paper forms will no more be accepted.
Pre-requisites for e-filing:
For e-filing, the pre-requisites are
Directors Identification Number (DIN)
Digital Signature Certificate (DSC).
Each Director is required to hold only one DSC and a single DIN.
Each Company Secretary / Chartered Accountant (employed / practising) is required to hold only one DSC.
All signatories of a company, including Managing Director, Directors, Manager or Secretary authorized to sign the various forms to be filed with ROC, RD or MCA are required to obtain DSC.
